But, the various solutions that will be offered are: try booting with -v -s -f -x And, make sure the "enable disable bit" is on if your BIOS has the option. What machine are you trying to install it on? legatoexpressivo Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 My Config: Gateway 400SD4 Pentium 4 sse2 2.2 ghz 512mb Ram 40gb hdd ati radeon mobility i've had the same exact problem. it always gets to that line of code and then just reboots. i've been searching all over the internet for a week and still no resolution. And the people in the irc channels have not provided any information that has corrected the problem (no offense to any of them is meant. i just mean of the help i've gotten, none of it has worked).
