BAMACSGUY_MacNewbie
Ok, I've looked everywhere but have not found an exact answer about this card. I have an ATI Radeon x1300 (not pro) 256mb by visiontek. I have tried multiple installer packages and kexts and cannot get anything to work. Is this card supported on Leopard Leo4All 10.5.2 Kernel 9.2.0? Or am I just an idiot and cannot get this to work? DT in SD
I've got it working in Leo4All 10.5.2; however, the graphics are very jumpy and I can't change the resolution from 1024x768. I tried installing Leo with the various ATI packages and had no luck. Also tried the natit_ATIauto kext, no luck there either. Good luck. BAMACSGUY_MacNewbie
Well, I do have display at 1024x768 but that is my CPU processing those graphics. Whenever I try to do the flurry screen save, it lags really bad and uses 100% of my CPU (not the GPU, the CPU). Anytime I install a kext or a package for the card I get a flash of red then black screen. I let my computer sit for a while and it will "cut off the monitor" because when I move the mouse my signal indicator (power button light) changes from orange (standby on the monitor) to green letting me know the screen has come back on. It is a PCIe card...is it possible that PCIe cards do not work with leopard?
