ecotopian
Seems I can't find a straight answer on this issue. I've already scoured the forums for two days looking for an answer. My hardware specs are in my sig. I'm running a Gigabyte AMD mobo that has the dreaded Yukon/Marvell/nForce4 chipset with no go at for the onboard LAN. I have already tried a Netgear FA-311 V2 PCI card having tried replacing the kext files with multiple versions with no success. Everything else works just great - once I get the networking issue resolved, I'll be 100% - so which inexpensive PCI LAN card is actually working? I only have 2 PCI slots so I need to get it right the first time on the purchase. HELP!!!
ecotopian
After going through four different PCI NIC cards, I gave up, went down to Staples and purchased a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO USB Network Adapter for $50.00 - the disk has MAC drivers - installed and was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Now I have a fully functional AMD based Hackintosh.
