mcsmart
I'm running leopard 10.5.1 with my new ATI Radeon HD 2600Pro (9589), 512MB RAM. I found the drivers on IRC after looking through netkas' blog: http://netkas.freeflux.net/blog/archive/20...full-qe-ci.html There he says that it "requires edited kexts (dev-id in plist and binary edited)". I've already tried installing his package, but after a reboot my screen looked sort of broken (loginwindow started though) and I could only move the mouse. I guess I simply have to add my device ID and my VRAM somewhere, but I have no idea what netkas means with "binary edited". Can anybody give me a hint what I have to edit and how? Vim probably won't do the job Thanks, mcsmart Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77086-solved-radeon-2600pro-and-netkas-driver-ati-kexts-what-2-edit/ Share on other sites
mcsmart
New Triakis package from IRC works well. Of course I had the blank menu-problem, but this fixed it. mcsmart Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77086-solved-radeon-2600pro-and-netkas-driver-ati-kexts-what-2-edit/#findComment-562086 Share on other sites
