v3ng3anc3
Hey Guys, I really want Leopard, but I can't download it without knowing as to whether or not my graphics is compatible. I have a 8600GT and I've heard mixed responces about its compatability. In a nutshell, is the 8600GT compatible? If not, I have a crossfire compatible motherboard, If I keep my 8600GT in the primary slot and put a X300 (i'lll buy one) in the secondary slot run the VGA through there, will that work and show that card with leopard? Cheers, jking197
Synaesthesia
No, the 8600GT is not working. I don't think you should go for the X300 either. Get a more compatible card, like a 7-series nvidia with 256mb ram. You can get quite cheap ones. I think you could run off a secondary card like that, but I'm really not sure. For a full list of working gfx cards, go here ->http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...4.8#PCI_Express edit: The 8600GT will work, but with no accelleration of any kind.
