irvine007 Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 hey there... got a big prob here ... since quite a while I've had running JaS 10.4.8 extremely well on my AMD 3000+ and Geforce 6800 ultra ... yesterday I've tried an app and I had to change the AppleSMBIOS.kext ... so I changed the name to AppleSMBIOS.kext.old and put the new one in ... unfortunately now my 10.4.8 doesn't boot anymore.... ... can someone please give me the info how I can delete the actual AppleSMBIOS.kext and change the AppleSMBIOS.kext.old back to normal using the terminal while booting from install DVD? I don't know a lot about terminal stuff, but too curious to try out new things so I gave it a try thanks in advance..... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
