Blista Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 On My MBP the left had side fan makes a purr.... sound, its the first time ive hurd the sound. if i put the speed of it up in smcfancontrol it runs like 500rpm slower then the right one, which it has never done... ]= i wanna take it to the local apple store, as its like 4 months old. + it has applecare. or should i wait untill the new mbp comes out and try and get that under warrenty? U.C. Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 They wont replace your old MBP with a newer one. The Fan probably just requires to be cleaned. I had a 3G ipod that got spoilt, 3 months after the 4G came out. They still replaced mine with a 3G.
