abyde Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 I've had Windows XP installed via Boot Camp for almost 2 months now with no problems. Since this morning, however, I have been unable to successfully boot into Win XP. Windows will load to the login screen, and after I select my username the desktop will come up for about 1 second and then the system reboots. I looked in my Device Manager in Safe Mode to see if there are any problems and it shows a yellow question mark next to the Video Controller meaning that the display driver is not loaded. I have tried to update the driver in Safe Mode but it will not install. I need to be booted into Windows normally for it to work.
