NarcoticBlue Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 well i sucessfully installed mac os 10.4.6 but i can no longer enter windows xp it just boots straight into macintosh. i tried going into utilities > startup disk but nothing shows up apart from "Network Startup" please help me i want to go back into windows. also when ever i restart it justs hangs there and all i see is that animation repeationg itself is there anyway to fix this? and can i get resolution higher than 1024 x 768? Universe_JDJ Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Repeatedly hit F8 while starting up to access the bootloader options while the computer is starting up. That should bring up a list of partitions and allow you to boot to the Windows one. To avoid having to keep hitting F8 every time you start up windows you can add the timeout key to com.apple.boot.plist. There are other threads that will help you out there.
