Hi everyone!

First of all, I love this forum. It is awesome how much you can find here anyway!

However, maybe one of you might be able to point me in the right direction here.

To outline a bit what I want to do:

I have ESXi running on an Supermicro board with C2750 Atom Processor unlocked with unlocker 2.1.0. There might be the possibility to get it to run in a VM using the Atom Kernel postet here. I just want to play around with it a bit to see if I can get it to work. As far as I understand, the main issue is the processor when using virtualisation.

Now the issue.

I created the installation media and before converting it to an ISO i copied the kernel to S/L/Kernels, the System.kext from the download to S/L/E and removed the prelinkedkernel. However, when I want to run the command to create the prelinked kernel for the installation media, it gives me a lot of errors.

Command used: kextcache -u /Volumes/OS\ X\ Base\ System

I am trying to build the ISO on macOS 10.13. with a Macbook Pro. Not sure if it is possible to build the prelinked kernel for 10.11 on this machine. If so, maybe someone knows the right command?

Any help appreciated :)

Best,
Matt
