However, maybe one of you might be able to point me in the right direction here. To outline a bit what I want to do: I have ESXi running on an Supermicro board with C2750 Atom Processor unlocked with unlocker 2.1.0. There might be the possibility to get it to run in a VM using the Atom Kernel postet here. I just want to play around with it a bit to see if I can get it to work. As far as I understand, the main issue is the processor when using virtualisation. Now the issue. I created the installation media and before converting it to an ISO i copied the kernel to S/L/Kernels, the System.kext from the download to S/L/E and removed the prelinkedkernel. However, when I want to run the command to create the prelinked kernel for the installation media, it gives me a lot of errors. Command used: kextcache -u /Volumes/OS\ X\ Base\ System I am trying to build the ISO on macOS 10.13. with a Macbook Pro. Not sure if it is possible to build the prelinked kernel for 10.11 on this machine. If so, maybe someone knows the right command?
