H4MZ4 Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 This error started occurring for me while installing 10.12, it wouldn't let me get to the installer. I had successfully installed other OS Xs such as 10.10 and 10.11, but for some reason I kept getting this error. I couldn't understand why since it had never happened to me on other versions of OS X. This is most likely to happen to people with custom built computers as it is a hardware issue. Basically, I released after a long time that it's regarding the memory sticks! My motherboard has 2 slots, and I have 1x8GB stick installed. The issue is that you must put your ram stick in the first slot if you only have 1 stick installed!
