DonDonnelly Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 I've been working on this hack for some time, and have finally been able to boot thanks to Brumbauer's patch for 5960x. I'm now at the point of fixing the following problems, and it seems a DSDT edit will be required: Ethernet not recognized (Intel i350 dual port, using AppleIGB kext, device ID is in plist) Audio not recognized (Not the highest priority, but would be nice) GPU's unable to load with nvidia driver (forced to use nv_disable=1). This is the big one. I've attempted to use Rampage's code injection, pike's AGPM fix, and many other solutions from threads around IM and elsewhere. I'm getting "Unable to set gpu p-limit" on boot followed by reset. System profiler does not see any GPU's beyond the first, so I'm assuming DSDT issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've managed to learn a bit about this, but the DSDT from this board seems radically different from most examples I've found.
