thesuffering Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 So I wanted to give 10.12 a go without screwing up my working Yosemite install. I tried to resize my OS X partition to make room for the Sierra partition, but every time it says "preparing to partition" and just sits there. All partitioning (with the exception of allowing windows to work on the windows partition to install uefi) has been done in OS X. What can I do to get disk utility working again?
