drumlin
Current installation is dual-booting El Capitan and Windows 10 on independent SSDs, using Clover r3504.Issue: Attempting to wake El Cap from sleep results in a system reboot. Sleep itself functions correctly and is stable. The failure is the wake process itself. On prompting wake, the enclosure power button light alights (as normal) and case fans spin up. The primary monitor (dual monitors) backlight turns on as well, although there is no video output. After a delay of roughly 10 seconds the system initiates a reboot and goes successfully to the Clover boot screen and into OS X.Any cold boot or system reboot between OSes is as normal. Only an attempted wake from sleep in El Capitan fails. This isn't the well-known AMD GPU monitor-wake-failure scenario--I'm using Intel's HD 4600 iGPU.Attached is a screenshot of what I can find in Console delineating the wake failure event.Help would be much appreciated. Are we looking at some kind of DSDT work? System sleep is a feature I like to use. System: ASUS Z97-AR i5-4590 HD 4600 iGPU
drumlin
Cause determined and found to affect Yosemite in the same way. Seems that displayport is sh*t in OS X. Does work fine in Windows on the same box.
