tonso Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Hi there, I've been reading a lot here over the last days, great site! I have managed to install SL to my Elitebook 8540W. While my starting point was tonymacx I then switched to using the files provided by msinfo_us and others in this thread There are still some problems though, obviously I can't use wifi, also usb ports on the left side don't work, sleep mode doesn't work. So I need to fix those issues as far as possible, but also I want to upgrade to el capitan. I suppose it would be better to first try and install capitan since I probably will have to start fixings things after that anyway? In general: What is the best path to move from SL to El Capitan?
