newhack Posted January 25, 2016 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Hello, i've managed to get my usb-installer with Shaneee's method but when i try to boot it showing a recurring error of "Apple USBEHCI restart-stop" I've never encountered that kinf of error before so any help is most welcome ! I had the same issue with my usb installer; you need to apply this USB Fix for El Capitan Also make sure you're using this kernel ("kernel_10.11.2_rc1.zip); the one posted in Shaneee's tutorial is an older kernel. RayLo23 Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Also you can try removing the Bluetooth extensions (if you don't use Bluetooth) and the controller extensions. That worked for me, but I think I have a newer board (it was difficult even though it was GA). And don't forget to repair permissions and rebuild cache.
