nepali_gurkha Posted August 15, 2005 Share Posted August 15, 2005 Im haveing problems with one of the last commands in installing OSX86 on VMware cp -RLv /Volumes/Untitled/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Bom.framework /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks ./ditto -rsrc /Volumes/Untitled / Im talking about the image with OSX86 is installed on, Within the Volumes folder, there are two files, one file that says "Untitled 1" but its 1 KB, there aren't any folder under it like (system/library/PrivateFrameworks etc..) The last command won't work because the Image, when i go into /Volumes/i see one folder that says Mac OSx installation and the other one says (Untitled 1) but what the command is saying that there supposed to be more foulders with in the file Untitled 1, there arn't any so there must be a problem. Roland77 Posted August 17, 2005 Share Posted August 17, 2005 I guess the first one, "Mac OSx" is ur Darwin install, the second one should be the osx86 image, but u made a mistake somehow and mounted the wrong image I think, can anyone confirm ?
