palfs
Hello friends, I'm trying to do a Hackintosh on a Dell Inspiron 3543 - using Clover+Yosemite. Before installing mac I need to change DVMT pre-allocated memory to 96MB. I followed step 2.2 from this tutorial: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/305710-guide-intel-hd-graphics-5500-on-os-x-yosemite-10103/ I successfully got address and value to change DVMT but when I run this command in EFI shell it gives me this error, internal command not recognized. I am using UEFI Shell from clover. My Laptop Specs: Dell Inspiron 15 - 3543 Intel Core i5-5200U Intel HD Graphics 5500 4Gb Ram NVIDIA Geforce 820M Other requirements to install Mac: GPT partition style HFS+ Partition UEFI boot Secure boot off AHCI enabled Virtualization off Is there any other command to edit this ? Help me in this please Thanks in Advance
Lost Star
I am using UEFI Shell from clover. The command should be typed in a special shell. Download the shell from the above thread and try again .
TheRacerMaster
My friend has a very similar laptop (except with i3-5005U instead of i5-5200U, and no NVIDIA GPU) and it works for him fine. You can also disable the CFG Lock setting (normally hidden) from the EFI shell as well (so you don't have to use the KernelPm option in Clover).
