destrekor Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 I am dual-booting with Windows, and for my Crossfire GPU solution, I have determined that HPET fully disabled (in both Windows and BIOS) is the best option for performance and smooth gameplay. Unfortunately, I can't seem to be able to get OS X to be happy without HPET. It might boot but KP soon after. I tried enabling the Fix_HPET fix in Clover, but that really didn't solve anything. Is this at all possible? Especially with patching through Clover so that updates don't break my system until I patch a kext again or something? If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
