Excel233
Hello Everyone. i recently built my first X99 system after a shining Z97 4790K. GA X99 UD5 wifi - Bios F9 i7 5930K GTX 770 Osx 10.9.5 with guides scattered everywhere on the web, i succeeded in booting on 10.9.5 with clover with kext FakeSMC, Voodootscsync and optionally nullCPUpower... my main problem is rough power output. I tried cinebench R15 tests in various configurations between Win and Mac, but each time Windows is performing way better than MacOs scores examples @stock speed on Win7 CPUx = 1100 CPU1 : 137 Mac : CPUx ±1000 CPU1 between 65 and 120. - 65 being slower than my 1,1 MacPro. The problem is the power stability on one core or more. i can effectively see some "rendering squares" going much, much slower than it should be at 3.5Ghz on haswell. This system is very touchy and it's very difficult to change boot option without having a KP or a black screen on boot. i can see unsynchronised TCS for 2 or 3 CPU at boot. VoodooTSCSync is rendezvouing, but this is way over my understanding. could this be something related with speedstep technology on this unsupported CPU ? or a core-synchronisation problem? i really have no clue. i come to you guys because i'm desperate to find a solution. what can i provide to you ? PM!
What you need is VoodooTSCSync.kext for 6 cores (IOCPUNumber=11).
