moonlightz Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 hi, im new here. I have a hp dc5100, specs are p4 541 @ 3.2ghz, 1.5gb ddr2 533, 80gb sata, gma900, ad1981b, rtl8169 pci. I'm trying to make the internal speaker to work on hackintosh. Tried Jas OS X and Ideneb 1.6 1.5.8 and now im trying Leohazard 10.6.6i. Sound works ok with rear out and front out (jack for headphones) but the internal speaker doesnt work. There is a similar issue on windows, when the latest driver is being used, no sound from the internal speaker. but when i use a driver from windows 2000, the speaker works ok. So i presume there is some kind of "software rewriting" or correct kext to enable the internal speaker. I got sound working with apple ac97 kext, there are adi1981x kext laying around but they dont seem to work and voodoohda doesnt work too. help apperciated extra info, ask and i will reply. thx in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
