Shedlock2000
Hi Guys, Introducing a Newbie!!I am a convert to PC from MAC and I've been a macophile for about 6 years now since I first bought my MacBook Pro and iPhone. However, I am having some drama with the Handoff function on my older MacBook Pro (first gen.) after a Yosemite upgrade. Apparently, according to Apple, the older tech is not able to run Handoff (and the great and much wanted MMS function via iMessgae). I am wondering if anyone has found a way around this issue yet. I am a Master's student at a University and often work on multiple papers at home, on my iDevices, and on my office computer -- so this Handoff thing is something that I really do need, and not being able to use the Handoff on the MacBook Pro is a big issue. My MacBook details are attached, and I am not too concerned about all of the other devices as they are new enough to work with Handoff.
