muang
Hello I got my Mavericks Hackintosh a month ago, and i installed Chameleon then since i was new at this, but now, i want to switch to clover. I am using non-UEFI board, but i want to use clover features. I tried to google some tutorials, but they were not understandable. so how to replace Chameleon with clover in non-UEFI system? please! (I was able to Boot through Clover USB Stick.)
ggzz
(I was able to Boot through Clover USB Stick.) I'm not sure about clover an non-efi boards as I'm new to it as well.. but you can try the below.. If you got clover to boot via the usb stick, then boot the system using the usb stick. Then use the following to mount the EFI partition: diskutil list mkdir /Volumes/EFI mount_msdos /dev/diskXsX /Volumes/EFI Make sure to mount the correct disk.. aka the USB. If you have trouble doing that, then use clover configurator to mount the disk instead. Copy that /Volumes/EFI folder to the desktop. Eject the USB. Install clover on the system. The EFI parition should pop up. Copy paste the EFI folder from the desktop to /Volumes/EFI. reboot and test.. You may need to generate a config for your system using clover configurator and customise it manually after.
fantomas
hi it is not required to use the efi partition just copy EFI folder + boot file from your USB stick to the root of your main hard drive, that's all. I have an old P5KPL-AM and it's how I did

fantomas
yes the clover boot file will replace the chameleon boot file just a thing... if I'm right, the chameleon boot file is hidden, so you will have to unhide special files with ShowAllFiles app and delete it manually then you will be able to copy clover boot file from your usb stick or perhaps even easier... just download the last clover version and install it... clover installer will do all the job for you then you can only copy / paste your config.plist from your usb stick to your new clover folder

Maybe that's the problem, I dont want to clear my Hack Partition... What Should I do?
