playfull_wlr Posted October 5, 2014 Share Posted October 5, 2014 hey guys, i decided to re-enjoy the taste of building his own hackintosh. and i was pretty lost at the first time.anyway, i come to u coz i have a simple problem. when i want to boot into the "i can't spell the name"beast key i prepared, it simply goes into the UEFI setup.in my efi i have two entry for each drives, one for booting with uefi mode and another for with legacy mode. i tried the legacy one too, and says BOOTMGR missing (i think it wanted to boot into one of my HDD)My config : Asus H97-PLUSi7-479016GB DDR3-1600Sapphire HD 6850 1GB 256gb Crucial MX100 SSDSamsung 500GB HDDWD 250GB HDDWD Velociraptor 80GB HDDI used a 64gb USB3 sandisk extreme to make my bootable key, if that can be an issue.do u have any idea? like i said before this is a whole new game with mavericks, i'm a little bit lost with the "the one we can't spell the name"beast/myhack thing... thx!!!
