Hello,

I have a gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 (no DVI - HDMI, only VGA output) equipped with a Intel celeron g1620 (hd2500).

My gpu (Intel hd2500) is known to be working on Mavericks.

I also know (from here http://www.hackintoshosx.com/topic/20119-guide-tips-for-enabling-vga-in-intel-hd3000-gpu/ and here http://www.niresh.co/hackintosh-topic/191-updated-guide-tips-for-enabling-vga-in-intel-hd3000-gpu/ ) that is possible to get the VGA output to work on a Intel HD3000 (Mavericks) ...

So my question is:

Does the HD2500 work with Yosemite out of the box?

May I patch the file AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB inside AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext as shown in the guide above for HD3000 (which I suppose is similar) to get the VGA connector working as well?

Thank you and best regards,

Pyno
