Can regular user use a dev preview of OS X?

Yes and Yes.

 

The developer account is only needed to download the dmg and sign apps if you wanna do that.

Hi there,

So, at work we've got some Macs that have been updated and I'd like to know if a regular user with a non-dev account can use it. Is it also possible to just update the mac without having a dev account with Apple?

Asking this because we want all of our employees to get used to Yosemite as of now (gradually). That is not my decision, but I got the orders :) So would be nice if this weren't restricted :)
