viomusicstudio Posted May 11, 2014 Share Posted May 11, 2014 I have successfully installed Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my PC but I have a few small problems that fail to correct them. I extracted the DSDT with AIDA64 but I can not compile DSDT editor, gives me errors that it can not correct and do not activate the option to save AML. Problems: 1. I have a Supermicro motherboard C2SBE sound is Realtek 883 and I found one 5.1 functional kext (see atachaments) but I have one problem with the front audio headphones that do not appear in "sound". I was thinking that there may be a fix with use of a DSDT, if anybody knows how to help me I would be grateful. 2. If I press shut down my pc shuts down but after a few seconds the PC starts without pressing anything. It looks like restart not shut down. Please help, I don't know how to resolve these issues, thanks in advance. 3. My mb have 4 sata ports 1,2, 5, 6 but no ahci option in bios. I manage to make sl to work only with native option in bios. On sata 1 I have one samsung hdd 1TB that works like charm, on sata 5 I have one asus dvd rw, but doesn't seems to work. In system profiler, on sata I have only samsug drive but no asus drive, I think SL doesn't see my 5 sata port. ps: I can install only SL. I tried Lion, ML, M but stuck on "still wait for root device", probably because I don't have ahci option in bios, but is okay, I like SL much better because it have Rosa emulator. dsdt.zip AppleHDA.kext.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
