vnt17
Hi guys, i installed a fresh 10.9.0 (also tried 10.8.5 and 10.9.1) and it seems like everything works fine but if i start a browser (no matter which one) osx freezes. tried with onboard HD4600 gfx and a geforce gt620. the result is always the same, everything works but all the browsers freeze the system. my config is: GA-Z87-HD3, 4670k, 16gb mem (2x8gb), HD4600 or GT620, Crucial M500 480gb SSD (tried an old 80gb HDD, didnt help), TP LINK TL-W851ND wifi (PCI). ideas? any help is much appreciated.. Pimentel
HelloYou can use HD4000+GT620, but i think this hard...GT 620 work OOB, so disable HD4600 in Bios and only use dedicated(GT620) GraphicEnabler=Yes in org.chameleon(if you use chameleon)or inject Nvidia in config.plist(Clover)
vnt17
Hi, fixed the freeze issue, just changed to macpro5,1 and deleted that kext. now installed the cuda drivers and kext for the GT620, popped it in and got stuck at ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::gatherCStateOverrides - failed to set c-state demotion data: -1 right after that, screen goes blank any ideas to solve that? iFIRE
disable in the bios your IGPU hd 4600, backup all AppleIntelHD kexts , then delete all from S/L/E, open KextWizard/repairpermissions/reboot
