aliimran160 Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 I have both functiions in my Bios , Legacy & UEFI, I have tried too much ways to boot form HD, but can't succeed, I tried both Clover & Chameleon , Plz Help me .. now i just boot from USB. when i make Chameleon installer on USB, i boot successfully, but not from directly Macintosh HD. wasureppoi Posted November 23, 2013 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Hi, If you are getting the message "No boot drive Press any key to retry" the problem is not in your mac installation. The motherboard is not configured to recognise your hard disk or if it is moreorless pointing to it then the IDE setup vis a vis IDE/RAID/AHCI etc is not set up correctly. aliimran160 Posted November 23, 2013 Author Share Posted November 23, 2013 i have only 2 options , IDE/AHCI, and i mostly use AHCI in MAC OS X and Windows 8. and if i install Chameleon on USB drive, then it boot , but when i install it on Mac HD , it cant boot.
