GT610 + VoodooHDA 2.8.x -> HDMI volume is fully controllable

Just got a G210, I'll have to verify HDMI audio too...

Have you installed the kext and it worked without modification?
I have tried in many ways, even with hdaenabler of Enoch and patches to the dsdt and have never succeeded.

I had the GT210 and then I bought the GT620.

Can you attach your VoodooHDA?

Scellow, HackMan85, if you have an issue with a member of staff, PM them or PM me. But don't troll here, in the public forum.

I'm sorry I did not know that I can not ask for files on the public forum.

As soon as I read that it can adjust the volume of audio hdmi are crazy, it's just over a year that I try in vain to do it myself.

That is not what I said. I said, from the forum rules: "If you disagree with a moderator take it up with them in private via PM."

G210 and GT610 do not require any special kext at all. The former works OOB with SL, L, ML and Mav, the latter works OOB with L, ML and Mav. I have no DSDT patch at all for any of those (neither for graphics nor for HDMI audio).

I use VoodooHDA v2.8.1 + AppleHDADisabler of course. These are readily available off the Net, but if you insist...

To me as a result I have only enabled the internal audio but the hdmi is not detected, however with version 2.8.4 is active but without being able to adjust the volume.

Thanks also.

I'll have to double check on the volume adjustment through HDMI output because I'm a little uncertain now; I only used it once when connecting my desktop to my TV screen. From what was stated previously on this thread, it would seem OS X does not support volume adjustment through the audio pref pane for HDMI output.

Glad to read that you can at least get it working with VoodooHDA. I guess you can always adjust audio level on the output device.

10.8.2 was never supported with this card. 10.8.3+ with retail drivers.

Under 10.9 it works OOB.

Both ML and Mav need:

GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Are you using a retail install method?
