Hanif
I need help installing Mavericks (GM) verison with myHack. I used myHack to create a bootable USB of Mavericks. It only loads if I use GraphicsEnabler=No -x and when I open disk utility to format, it does not detect my drive. One time it did detect the drive but it was in read mode and I was unable to format. Please help. Too bad ##### isn't out with a tool for Mavericks as it worked for me in the past with ML. Especially with the Z77 chipset What is the last line that shows up (using -v without -x)? Have you tried changing the SATA port used on your motherboard? ameris_cyning
Ok, I am pretty sure your problem is with your Graphics card. I don't know much about Radeons, but I do know they can be a {censored} to get working. Can you try to boot with GraphicsEnabler=no -v?
Hanif
I booted with GraphicsEnabler=No -v and I get a screen with a rotating beachball - it doesn't go anywhere (see attached). I then booted with GraphicsEnabler=No -x and I am able to get to the installer but no disks can be seen (see attached). myHack isnt working for me so far.. Hanif
Disk.zip put in Extra/Extensions of your USBInstaller or S/L/E Thanks iFire. I put it in Extra/Extensions on my myHack USB. Let me try this again. Brb. Still no SSD disk detected. Should I try putting the kexts in S/L/E? Edit: put it in both locations...still no SSD detected AHCI is set in bios
iFIRE
VS, boot with -f -v GraphicsEnabler=No rd=disk0 disconect your second disk, and put SSD in port Sata 0 or 1, what format have your SSD ? Use Fat32, the installer not see NTFS
Hanif
I did that - I get a grey screen with beach ball. The SSD is on the first SATA port I tried with -x and no SSD detected. I have another NTFS SATA drive (non-SSD) and it detects fine through the installer. Do I have to use Kext Wizard to install the kexts? I simply just copied them to the folder

Hanif
I bought a non-SSD drive and was able to install Mavericks without any issues. I can only boot with -x so I will try installing some kexts...
