burning_anima
Hi everybody! I don't know if I did this right, I hope so! Can anybody help me? I have an nVidia GeForce GO 7300 with 512mb, but my mac 10.4.8 only reads 128 Mb! It works fine, but if anybody could help me make it use all of the ram it has, I would be very happy indeed!! THANKS!!
Guest BassMac
I have an Nvidia GeForce 7100 with 512Mb but the same problem... It supports only 128Mb... exactly as your mac does. Have you found how to fix this?Thanx!
Guest risopan
7100 and 7300 range uses a technology called hypercache wich actually uses the main systems memory. So the basic card memory would be 128 (actual memory on gfx card) and the rest is taken from the system memory. So ur card doesnt really have 512meg even if it was advertised like that.have a look around the net for nvidia hypercache
