ShadowLegion88 Posted May 15, 2013 Share Posted May 15, 2013 I have a Asus A55A Laptop that i want to put OSX86 on but dont know where to begin. I dont have access to a Mac so i first tried using TransMac to burn the iATKOS ML2 AND iATKOS L2 on a disk but when i put the disk in the system it wont boot into the installation software and just boots into windows regularly. Im really interested in getting Mac on my laptop and want to know the best place to start. Please provide all this information so we can better help you. To my knowledge, this model is a LAPTOP, not a NETBOOK. I have moved this topic to the notebooks section of the forums. ShadowLegion88 Posted May 22, 2013 Author Share Posted May 22, 2013 I was able to get Snow leopard installed using a retail copy of snow leopard + chemeloeon and transmac. My laptop specs are below. Now i need to look into getting the internet and my laptop trackpad and keyboard to work. I was going to try to install 10.8.3 retail and see if that helps. I have a flash drive so i can transfer kext my only thing is finding the right ones.
