crummosh
Here's a summary of my situation: - GA-Z68AP-D3 F8 (was F3) - Gainward GTX 570 Golden Sample - i5 2500K - Nothing else in the pci slots Installed 10.8.3, first boot was ok, at the next boot I get a black screen after some seconds of apple logo, basically the screen turns to power save. After some trial I finally discovered that the problem is EthernetBuiltIn=Yes, without it, the system works. In a previous 10.8.2 installation I thought the problem were the nvidia drivers, so I deleted them and booted the system with the HD3000, and the system was working but without hw acceleration. I need the app store so I need EthernetBuiltIn, what could be the problem? A conflict beetween the nvidia drivers and the realtek one? I tried both Lnx2Mac and Apple realtek drivers, with the same result. I tried upgrading the bios to the latest one (F8) without any change. I'm using the correct DSDT for my motherboard. I tried also without it, with the same results.

bigpoppa206
Search for Lnx2Mac's Realtek Ethernet kext and try it instead.
