Hi! I've lurked here for a while but this is my first post. I'm moving soon and I need to offload some of my older equipment, so this awesome machine has to go. I also have an Acer 20" LED LCD display that I have no use for, so it goes with the Mac. (Both in perfect working condition.) I don't have any pictures of the monitor, but it's an Acer S202HL, if I remember correctly.

Specs & Upgrades:

  • PowerMac G4 Quicksilver 2002
  • Original 733mhz G4 upgraded to Sonnet 1.33GHZ G4, 2MB L2 Cace (Original CPU&Heatsink also included with sale)
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • Original Apple Airport 802.11a/b card
  • Original onboard gigabit port not functional, so I've included a 10/100 PCI Ethernet adapter
  • 56k onboard modem
  • Sonnet SATA PCI Adapter, 1.5Gbps
  • Western Digital 10,000rpm SATA 160gb harddrive (boot drive)
  • 200gb IDE harddrive
  • 300gb IDE harddrive
  • CD-RW/DVD drive
  • ZIP-250 drive
  • Original 120mm cooling fan replaced due to failure of the original fan (replacement fan slightly higher CFM)
  • Original apple keyboard/mouse/power cable included, along with a 4 port USB2.0 hub
  • Mac OS 10.4.11 installed (Capable of running Mac OS 10.5)
  • Capable of running Mac OS 9.2.2 if you can track down the disks for this system.

I'd like to get $200 for the system+monitor. I think that's everything. If I think of anything else, I'll post a reply to this. The case is asthetically almost perfect, a few scratches here and there but overall very good shape for it's age. The SATA card functions fine with the one drive connected to it, though it seems like the system gets "cranky" when you have two SATA drives connected in any RAID configuration, or any time you copy files between the two SATA drives. It functions perfectly in it's current configuration with the two IDE drives and on SATA though. (660gb of harddrive space on a G4 should be plenty, I would hope...) I'm located in Tampa, Florida 33613 for shipping quotes (buyer pays shipping). Local pickup would be VERY welcome, but not required. If it is to be shipped I do ask that you give me a little time to try and figure out how to safely package it!
