On the new partition, I want to install windows 8. 4. When boot pc, I can select windows or osx with chameleon. Is it possible? Please let me know 1) how to split two partition which is installed with osx. 2) how to install windows 8 for dual-booting. Thanks in advance. If OS X is ALREADY installed, then you should use the Disk Utility to shrink the existing partition and create the new one (formatted as FAT). http://macs.about.com/od/applications/ss/diskutilitysize_3.htm 3. It's OK if you have a PC with UEFI2.x and Windows is 64-bit (at least it was true with Windows 7/Vista). Windows 7 32-bit will not install on GPT disk (I assume you have GPT disk - not MBR). Windows 7 64-bit will only install to GPT disk if motherboard supports UEFI (BIOS only motherboard will not work on it's own; there are solutions for that though). 4. Chameleon can only be used with BIOS (BIOS mode with UEFI motherboards). Clover can be used with both (BIOS and UEFI). So if you intend to have GPT only disk, then Clover should be used instead of Chameleon. There are many dualbooting guides available in this forum.
