jamiethemorris
My computer is working rather spectacularly these days, but I had a kernel panic today during a restart... I suspected it was because I unplugged and replugged my iLok a million times trying to help my friend troubleshoot a problem with his own iLok. Just to be safe, I decided to boot into safe mode and let it do a disk repair/clear caches/whatever else it does. I recieved a kernel panic relating to iostoragefamily.kext. I tried several other boot flags and still recieved the same panic. This only happens in safe mode though, as soon as I boot regularly, the system works fine. I'm just concerned because safe mode is a crucial troubleshooting feature that I hate to have non-functional. Can anybody shed some light on this?
