when installing a 256GB SSD in my mid 2009 MBP I noticed a large file called devrdisk2 in the / folder
Note it iS NOT /dev/rdisk2. it is a 1.9GB file called devrdisk2
As I have downgraded (capacity wise) from a 500GB HDD to a 256GB SSD I am doing my best to conserve space I'd like to know if I can delete it - or I should say How can I delete it. I already tried by moving it to the documents folder to see if anything "broke" but it was just recreated in the / folder
Google search won't throw up anything on this file name
Is this some kind of "RAM Disk"
Any advice welcome
tks
Noel
