is it possible to use Microsoft Remote Keyboard for Windows XP Media Center Edition with osx ?

It has an infrared receiver seen as below:

If there is any driver for osx for such device please let me know...(or linux driver that can be compiled in osx) i will update this topic if i will find any information so that other people may find it useful. If i find a driver for IR transceiver it should be ok and enough.
I find this is a nice keyboard for multimedia/media center use and it would be nice to be used under osx (with a proper macintosh too, macmini for example)!
