Hi,
does anyone know if it is possible and how to enable QE / CI on ATI HD 2600 XT on Lion 10.7.2? I just can not figure out how to do it. Can anyone help me. I would appreciate it because I can not see movies. Thanks for the assistance that you will provide.

pretty old card, i'm not sure if there's a proper way to have QE/CI on this card.

if that doesn't work, you'll may be to have to envisage to buy a recent cheap card.

The card should work as long as your device ID is added to the proper kexts. The following is the working framebuffers for your card:

some times it's not enough, so it needs to patch special binaries addresses to get it work and some time that is not enough too !  

but i really hope that it will work for him !

I'm afraid I have to buy a graphics card most suitable because they are not able to update my card via DSDT even though I would love to try.  I believe that to do so I would need to study a little, right?  thanks again and really compliments for the forum: it is a great help for newbies like me!
