I have a Acer Extensa 5620 laptop:

Intel Core 2 duo T5550, Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100

I created a 0.3.2 ModCD from

http://www.osx86.net/view/2298-nawcom_modcd_0.3.2.html

& proceeded with initial boot/install. At the Menu, I have the choice of modbin or vanilla kernel..which one do I choose?

Removed CD, put in the retail Snow Leopard DVD, I just didn't type anything in, & let it run. I got to the Snow Leopard installer:

"Select the disk where you want to install Mac OS X"

The PC hard drive (Windows Vista) is not allowing an install..??

[ can't be installed on disk with Windows NT Files System NTFS format ]

I thought modCD could install in "parallel" with the Windows OS.

I plugged in a USB HD, about to use Disk Utility to format to Mac Journaled & am about to install there..is this my only option?
