marcuspen
I'm looking to install OS X on my PC which I built myself but I just want to check that my components will work ok. Preferably I would like Snow Leopard as this is the one I use at work. My system has the following spec: Gigagyte GA-Z68AP-D3 motherboard Intel i5 2500K 8GB DDR3 1600MHz ram ASUS GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II TOP GPU 128GB Crucial M4 SSD (Windows 7 drive) 500GB SATA III Western Digital HDD (Drive I want OS X on) There's other stuff too but I don't think its relevant. I'd want OS X on my HDD and not my SSD and I'd like to be able to dual boot. My HDD will be formated clean for the installation. Is there anything I need to know before I attempt it? I checked the wiki but I couldn't find my motherboard or GPU listed there so I'm in doubt about it all!

marcuspen
Cheers for this! Looks like this could be a frustrating job, I only really want to do this so I can edit videos on a mac as I'm not really too fond of Adobe Premiere or Vegas. Not too sure if it's worth going through this just for video editing >.<
