[SOLVED] hd 5750 not working

Hi!

I'm writing in international forum, because in mine nobody answer me

However, I have an Hackintosh with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and nawcom's Legacy Kernel 10.8, fully functional, but i can't install the graphics card drivers

I tryed with the ROM (UseAtiROM key in boot options and the ROM in Extra folder) and seems it doesn't work like the already patched drivers ATI5000Controller, Framebuffer, Support and ATY_Init.

 

Now i have the original drivers, patched by me and the ROM (dumped), but when I power on my hackintosh with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, it stops after the loading, in the normale mode, the apple remains, while in verbose mode doesn't log anything after "DSMOS has arrived".

 

This is the second time that I install Hackintosh, the first was great but i didn't know how I installed the graphics driver lol

 

Here some information about my pc and software:

AMD Athlon II X4 630 (overclocked to 3.5GHz)

XFX ATi Radeon HD 5750 XXX 1GB DDR5

4GB DDR3 RAM

ASUS M5A99X EVO (ALC892 sound and RTL8186 network)

 

Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with nawcom's Legacy Kernel (installed with iATKOS S3 V2)

Chameleon SVN 2.1 r1897

Lnx2Mac RTL8xxx

AppleAzaliaAudio

Solved! I had to set SMBIOS with ###### to iMac 11,2

I've reinstalled Mac OS X and did this:

1. Update to 10.6.8 and installed nawcom's Legacy Kernel 10.8
   
2. Installed Chameleon 2.1svn
   
3. Installed ATY_Init
   
4. Added 0x68BE1002 to Info.plist from ATI5000Controller.kext
   
5. Changed SMBIOS to iMac 11,2
   
6. Added to boot.plist UseAtiRom=Yes, GraphicsEnabler=Yes
   
7. Added to Extra my HD5750 ROM (1002_68be.rom)
   
8. Reset
   
9. Congratulations! You've your graphics card installed with QE/CI fully functional.
   

I hope I was useful, for who like me had this problem!
