Hey all,

This is my third time putting together a hackintosh, first on Lion. I'm dual booting Win7 and Lion off a 2 TB HDD - I have a 64 GB SSD that I was previously using as a Win7 boot drive, but it was causing problems so I removed it. Important specs are as follows:

Motherboard: Intel DZ68DB (no DSDT to my knowledge)

Processor: Intel Core i7 2600k

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6670

RAM: 8 GB

I'm able to install Lion 1.7.2 using the ###### method and boot into Lion using the ###### USB. Next step, installed Chimera. Lion recognized my GPU right off the bat, so I had native resolution and everything from the beginning. Once I've booted up, I've run ###### - and this is where the trouble begins.

My first attempt I ran MB with #####. When I restarted, however, my monitor would shut off halfway into the boot. ##### must have injected something pertaining to graphics that messed up the already-fine GPU settings.

On my second attempt I ignored ##### but manually selected kexts to get boot, audio, USB 3 and ethernet working:

- NullCPUPowerManagement

- FakeSMC

- Apple HDA rollback

- ALC892

- USB 3

- Hnak’s AppleIntel 1000e

Now when I boot, I run in verbose mode until, right after FakeSMC loads, the white Apple screen shows up with a black cursor frozen at the top left. And then it sits there. I don't know what's wrong because it kicks me out of verbose mode to get to the Apple screen. EDIT: I tried booting in safe mode, but after a while of sitting on the boot screen, I got a "No Smoking-like" error image in front of the apple. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
