iba21 Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 hi, is there a way to set the Windows cpu affinity in Lion? what is cpu affinity? it's the function witch can tell to a process to use what core/es you want to use ex: quadcore.. process firefox.. cpu affinity core3 for html rendering, core 2 fore plugin.. core 1 and 0 disabled process finder... cpu affinity core 0 core 1, core 2 core 3 disablet i'd want to force the html rendering on a single core, because, html rendering isn't multithreaded, so, it speed up loading pages thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
