Format HDD to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) via Utilities > Disk Utility. Select HDD you will install OS X to then click Customize and uncheck everything. Run the OS X installation then you will be forced to reboot. (leave [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] CD in) Move DSDT Auto-Patcher to your Applications folder, then run it. Select your M/B Manufacturer and model, then create patched DSDT (to desktop) Download 10.6.8 Combo update from [3] http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399 Run the combo update DO NOT REBOOT Run [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and check: User DSDT install ElliotForceLegacyRTC (fixes BIOS reset) Kext Helper b7 (installs kexts) Kext Utility (fixes permissions and rebuilds cashes)[/indent] Remove [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] CD and reboot now. (if you have a DUAL DVI 9800 GT you can stop here) Run Kext Helper b7 and install: NVEnabler64.kext (nVIDIA video support) AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext (fix networking) AppleHDADisabler.kext (disable apple audio) VodooHDA.kext (fix audio)[/indent] Run Kext Utility to fix permissions. Run OSX86Tools to Enable Quartz GL (im not even 100% that you need this) Run nVidia Retail Drivers.dmg (a must for EN8400GS) Reboot to a fully functional dual monitor Hackintosh.
