jasonthebox123 Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 It was weird at first but i will tell you my method.i burned hazard os x iso to a dvd and got the still waiting for root device error.i installed leopard on my hackintosh and restored/burned the iso to a hard drive.but before i did that,i installed the chamemelon rc3 boot loader first.after disk utility finished burning the iso to a blank hard drive i restarted my hackintosh.to my suprise apon reboot my partition showed up in the boot menu.i selected it and it booted right into the installation in just 17 seconds.i costimized my installed and after the install finished.when i rebooted it my screen said welcome.i was shocked.it also regonized my keyboard and before you know it i was staring at my desktop.i tell you what i did.look below.really works.i am so excited.i just did this 3 hours ago.im suprised the dvd didnt work and after burning it to a hard drive it did work.try it.its the real deal. Applies to all sata,ati,and ndivia users. NOTE-YOU MUST HAVE A HACKINTOSH RUNNING OSX LEOPARD FIRST. 1.Get Hazard OSX.(google is your friend0 2.Download chameleon boot loader from chameleon website.(i will post a lick to chameleon installer for those who cant find it) 3.boot into leopard.(if you have it installed) 4.install chameleon 5.open disk utility 6.change iso extension to dmg 7.format blank partition as mac os x extended journaled 8.click restore tab on blank partition 9.select image tab 10.browse to hazard dmg file 11.select or drag partition to bottom tab 12.press restore 13.when finished reboot your pc 14.select the partition where hazard ISO was restored 15.it is impossible to get the still waiting for root device error.if all goes well it should boot into the installer very fast. 16.Select language and go to disk utility. 17.Format the partition where leopard is installed as mac os x extended journaled. 18.you are on your own from here only for a short time.if you know all your hardware this should be easy.if not i will post my settings and selections asap.give me a few days My specs My Specs: PC-DESKTOP BRAND-GATEWAY MODEL-GM5664 BIT-X86 (32 BIT) RAM-4 GIGABYTES PROCESSOR-AMD PHENOM 9600 QUAD CORD PROCESSOR/AMD PHENOM X4 9600 # OF CORES-4 CHIPSET-NVIDIA MCP61 BIOS-PHONEIX TECHNOLOGIES,LTD 6.00 GRAPHIC INTERFACE-PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS-ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT GRAPHIC MEMORY-256 MEGABYTES HARD DRIVE FOR OSX-221 GIGABYTES if something happens on first time boot up or there is something you don't understand in the instructions, don't hesitate to ask me.just post your question regarding or anything else regarding problems on first time boot up.i will give a response as quick as i can.IF YOU LIKE MAC,BUY IT.CREDIT GOES TO THE HAZARD IS TEAM AND THEIR HARD WORK.i will get pictures as fast as i can.
