I am using iatkos v7 10.5.7..i managed to install everything.. now i have a perfect system with all components.

PROBLEM: audio freezes or stops frequently while playing HD or x264 videos with 5.1 channel AAC or AC3 audio.. then i need to start Audio MIDI.app and reselect the channel options.
After that audio plays fine in the HD file..after a while it again stops once again requiring to start MIDI.app .
Is this an issue with ac97audio and mac leopard? else may be some other problem..

NOTE: i had this issue with iatkos v5 & kalway 10.5.2. No problems with AVI files with mp3 audio.. all my music files plays fine..

Player used: VLC and mplayer OS X Extended
