Hello!

So, I (currently) am running Snow Leopard on two PCs next-to-flawlessly. However, since I am a Mac tech, I often have to work with legacy HFS (Mac OS Standard) disks, and Snow Leopard has read-only support for them. Therefore, I need Tiger, which I know has HFS read/write support. My parents own an Intel iMac with 10.4.7 restore discs, and I have just removed the script to check the hardware. Is there any way that I can use a bootloader (boot-132, #####, naucom ModCD, etc.) with a Tiger kernel to install 10.4.7 on my computer? If so, does anybody know where to get a kernel for 10.4.7? I absolutely refuse to use any distro of any kind, so if this is not possible, does anybody know if it's possible to import the HFS filesystem driver from Tiger to SL? Thank you all.
