evildj Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 Hi, i have a Powerbook G4 17" Aluminium that constantly switches itself off. The battery is fine, and i've tried running it with the DC board unplugged but i'm still getting the same results. It just goes off after about 5 minutes, meaning i cant install OSX! Is this an overheating issue? The laptop doesnt feel hot at all really but ususally something just turning itself off is heat related? In other words... Help!!!!
